Crossroads High (Alternative)
Overview
Historically, Crossroads served as the traditional K-12 Independent Study Program for Newark Unified School District. However, beginning the 2021-2022 school year, it serves as the District's virtual school. Students in grades TK-5 participate in daily assembly and receive biweekly synchronous instruction and grades 6-12 participate in daily online instruction through the Edgenuity's suite of instructor led courses.

I encourage all Coyotes and their parents/guardians to be proactive. Be productive in your classes and complete all assignments. Reach out to staff with questions and feedback. Make the most of your Coyote experience.
Please make sure to clear all absences by calling our attendance hotline, 510-818-3204. You may leave voicemail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Absences must be cleared within two school days or uncleared absences will result in truancy letters and meeting requests.

Work Experience and Community Service
Crossroads students may participate in Work Experience and Community Service for credit. Policies and procedures are the same as implemented at Bridgepoint High School.

Parent Involvement
